GT CLUB 2017-2018
We are excited for fall semester with the gifted and talented after school program. The goal of this enrichment program is to give GT students a place where it’s cool to be smart, where they have a chance to work together, build social skills, where they can go out and work with experts in the field, spend time in nature, and experience cultural events. Experiences include:
- After school enrichment and social meetings every other Monday
- Possible day trips: Mary Moody Northen Theatre at St. Edward's University, cultural events, museums, and college campus visits.
- Other educational events/trips: Washington D.C. for 7th and 8th graders, and possibly the Outdoor School
This year, GT Club will be for 7th and 8th grade students in the fall semester; sixth graders will be joining us in the spring.
